GA FORESTRY COMMISSION | WILMINGTON WOODWORKING
SAVANNAH TREE FOUNDATION | RE:PURPOSE SAVANNAH
Urban wood refers to all wood that is salvaged from building deconstruction or urban tree care operations. By diverting this wood from the landfill to reuse and resell it, the urban wood economy creates a closed loop system that is sustainable and beneficial to the community.
Learn about the urban wood movement and efforts to grow the industry in the Savannah area.
